Job Summary:
The Primary Teacher (All Subjects) is responsible for teaching core subjects (English, Mathematics, EVS/Science, Social Studies, Hindi/Regional Language) to students in Classes 1 to 5. The teacher will create an engaging, child-centered learning environment, foster holistic development, and ensure alignment with the school’s curriculum (CBSE/ICSE/State Board).

Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching & Lesson Delivery:
Plan and deliver interactive lessons for all primary subjects.
Use creative teaching methods (storytelling, activities, digital tools) to make learning fun.
Ensure conceptual clarity through practical examples and hands-on activities.
- Classroom Management:
Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
Encourage student participation and collaborative learning.
- Assessment & Progress Tracking:
Conduct formative and summative assessments (quizzes, projects, oral tests).
Maintain records of student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Prepare report cards and attend parent-teacher meetings (PTMs).
- Curriculum & Activity Planning:
Follow the prescribed syllabus (CBSE/ICSE/State Board) while adding innovative elements.
Organize co-curricular activities (arts, crafts, storytelling, field trips).
- Child Development & Well-being:
Identify and support students with learning difficulties.
Promote values, ethics, and social skills among children.
- Administrative Duties:
Maintain daily attendance and classroom records.
Participate in school events, assemblies, and teacher training programs.

Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Certification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) (Mandatory for CBSE/ICSE schools).
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) or equivalent for State Board schools.
CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) / State TET qualification (preferred).
Experience:
1-3 years of teaching experience in primary classes (Freshers with internship experience may apply).
Familiarity with NEP 2020 guidelines (preferred).
Skills:
Strong command of English, Hindi, and regional language (if required).
Proficiency in child psychology and activity-based learning.
Basic computer skills (PPT, Google Classroom, Smart Board teaching).
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young learners.

School hours (typically 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM).
May involve supervising extracurricular activities or school events.
