The QA/QC Engineer / Manager shall report to Head Quality. Location: Lucknow / Allahabad
Educational & Behavioral Requirements • Qualification: BE / B. Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience: 5 to 12 years in
Quality Control / Quality Assurance in real estate & high-rise construction • Knowledge: Construction Quality Control and Quality Assurance process and documentation • Should have an exposure to ISO 9001, and preferably be a Certified Internal Quality Auditor • Technical Skills & Competencies: o Experience and knowledge on QMS, QA/QC. o Experience in RCC, Finishing works, services coordination, comparative analysis of Quality across projects, and Pre-handover inspections. o Knowledge of applicable IS Codes / Standards / Specifications / Drawings. o Well versed in Quality testing tool and techniques. o Proficient in MS Windows, MS office and with working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Job Requirement Summary Shall be responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out as per approved GFC Drawings / applicable Codes / Standards / established processes / procedures / Method Statements using approved / tested materials & Inspection and Testing of incoming materials is done as per ITP; ensuring strict and effective Quality checks for inspecting the Quality of Material / Manpower / Process / Workmanship; carrying out source and vendor visits; reducing non-conformities and providing technical solutions to Quality issues. The QA/QC Engineer / Manager should be able to effectively demonstrate Do it right first time, every time approach with a view to ensuring zero defects. The QA/QC Engineer / Manager shall be responsible for enhancing capabilities and increasing awareness of the Quality protocols, correct processes / procedures to be followed and for reducing rectification and rework amongst the Companys & Contractors personnel through regular trainings & awareness sessions. Besides this, he / she shall also be responsible for mentoring the people that report to him / her.
